<p style="text-align: justify;">The rapidly increasing worldwide demand for natural gas as an energy source requires expertise in gas engineering technology. Incorporating a balance between theory and application, course emphasis is on training participants for immediate application of acquired techniques to field problems.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Production is defined as the operations involved in bringing well fluids to the surface and preparing the fluids for transport to a refinery via pipelines or trucks. The first step in production is to start the well fluids flowing to the surface (called &#8220;well completion&#8221;). Well servicing and workover consists of performing routine maintenance operations (such replacing worn or malfunctioning equipment) and performing more extensive repairs, respectively. Well servicing and workover are an intermittent step and necessary to maintain the flow of oil and gas. Next, the fluid must be separated into its components of oil, gas, and water; stored; and treated (for purification), measured, and tested before being transported to the refinery.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">This training will provide the principle and yet some practical and theoretical aspect that can be applied on daily work faced by production engineers and supervisor in the oil industry.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Pelaksanaan program training/pelatihan bagi sumber daya manusia hendaknya dipertimbangkan dengan matang mengingat biaya yang dikeluarkan tidak sedikit. Agar program pelatihan memberikan kontribusi yang berarti, maka program pelatihan harus diarahkan kepada area/bidang yang benar-benar membutuhkan pelatihan. Kegagalan program pelatihan bukan hanya tidak tercapainya apa yang menjadi tujuan/target yang hendak dicapai tetapi juga pemborosan dari segi biaya yang dikeluarkan. Untuk itu organisasi perlu melakukan pengendalian terhadap fungsi pelatihan. Pengendalian ini dapat dilakukan dengan merancang program dan anggaran untuk pelatihan. Perancangan program pelatihan berfungsi untuk melihat kemampuan-kemampuan penting apa yang sangat diperlukan, serta kemungkinan-kemungkinan pelatihan di masa mendatang. Perancangan anggaran pelatihan berfungsi untuk mengestimasi biaya-biaya yang harus dikeluarkan untuk melaksanakan suatu pelatihan.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Penentuan prioritas program pelatihan dan anggaran biayanya yang akurat bukanlah hal yang mudah, apalagi untuk organisasi yang ukurannya besar. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu metoda agar tidak hanya mengandalkan penilaian subyektif dari manajer sumber daya manusia atau manajer puncak dalam memutuskan program pelatihan mana yang akan dilaksanakan serta berapa jumlah biaya yang harus dikeluarkannya. Pelatihan ini merupakan peta penunjuk jalan bagaimana seseorang mampu merencanakan suatu pelatihan dan menentukan anggaran biaya yang akan dikeluarkan untuk suatu pelatihan.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Selain perlu direncanakan dengan baik, aktivitas pelatihan juga harus memberikan suatu return yang lebih besar dari jumlah rupiah yang telah dibayarkan untuk membiayai suatu pelaksanaan training. Para pengelola HRD selama ini banyak yang berbicara tentang manfaat training secara kualitatif, dengan gaya bahasa yang umumnya hanya dimengerti oleh orang-orang HRD. Untuk dapat menjustifikasi manfaat setiap pelaksanaan training, maka saat ini sudah saatnya pengelola HRD dapat menampilkan data secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan &#8220;bahasa manajemen&#8221;.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Untuk dapat melakukan dan mewujudkan analisis pengaruh training terhadap bisnis secara baik, dibutuhkan alat bantu dan keterampilan yang memadai sekaligus jalinan yang padu dengan hasil analisis kebutuhan training. In campus he teachs material engineering, corrosion, advanced material, coating and metallurgy. He has researched some topics related to his expertise such as</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Dinamika lingkungan industri serta persaingan yang semakin ketat telah mengubah sistem manajemen logistik yang selama ini dikenal. Supply chain management didefinisikan sebagai rangkaian aktivitas sejak dilakukan pembelian material, proses transformasi material menjadi bahan setengah jadi dan produk jadi serta mendistribusikannya melalui sistem distribusi yang ada. Jadi, supply chain mengatur aktivitas sejak di supply cycle, response cycle sampai ke delivery cycle.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah banyak menyumbang tumbuhnya sistem supply chain management. Saat ini semua fungsi manajemen logistik telah dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan fasilitas internet dan intranet. <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Dr. Ir. Endra Joelianto </strong>is an expert in control engineering. His outstanding research is: Hybrid Control Systems, Discrete Event Control Systems, Petri Nets Analysis and Application on PLC, Robust PID Controller, Advanced Process Control, Industrial Automation using PLC/DCS. He received first degree (Ir.) in Engineering Physics in 1990 from Department of Engineering Physics, ITB and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD.) in Control Engineering in 2001 from Department of Engineering,The Australian National University, Australia.<br />
He is coordinator of Intelligent Control and Automation, and founder of PLC Research Group, Laboratorium Instrumentasi dan Kontrol (LINK), Departemen Teknik Fisika, Institut Teknologi Bandung. He was the founder and the director of Schneider-OMRON PLC Training Center, Maranatha Christian University, Bandung.  The Schneider-OMRON PLC Training Center has cooperation with PT. Schneider Electric Indonesia, PT. OMRON Corporation Japan, Invensys WONDERWARE. He was the project leader for TPSDP Retooling Program Batch II-DIKNAS for Training Program on &#8220;INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION USING PLC&#8221; 2004 and Co-provider for the same retooling program Batch II on &#8220;INDUSTRIAL CONTROL AND AUTOMATION&#8221; by PT. Cahaya Sumirat, Bandung. In 2005, he leads the retooling project entitled PLC for Industrial Control and Automation at the Department of Engineering Physics, ITB<br />
